Magazine of Civil Engineering (ISSN: online-version 2071-0305, print version 2071-4726) is a peer-reviewed open-access scientific and technical journal for the publication of original research papers. Online and printed versions of the journal are available.
The aim of the journal is to make scientific articles available for a wide audience of researchers, engineers and managers in construction. Magazine of Civil Engineering publishes papers which contribute to the real problems of the building sector all over the world. Our authors pay special attention to the economical efficiency of technical solutions. That is why our journal will be interesting not only for the scientific community but also for engineering staff and managers of building and designing organizations.

Magazine of Civil Engineering is indexed by Scopus, Web of Science (Core Collection), Compendex (Elsevier), Directory of Open Access Journals, EBSCO, Google Academia, Index Copernicus, ProQuest, Ulrich's Serials Analysis System.
Magazine of Civil Engineering publishes articles in English. All articles are open access in their language (Russian or English). Each science article has complete abstract, key words, author information, bibliographical description and list of references in English. In references and author names the transliteration under system of USA State Department is used.
Magazine of Civil Engineering is Open Access journal. The Diamond Open Access model is used: all expenses are covered by Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University; the publication is free of charge for authors. The articles are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.
In Magazine of Civil Engineering we care about digital preservation policy. We understand the urgency of archiving and preservation of our journal content. We ensure the accessability of our content by transferring full-texts and metadata to National Digital Library (elibrary.ru) and to Digital Library of Polytechnic University. In Digital Library of Polytechnic University the digital preservation is ensured by data backup according to their own established policy. The physical and logical data migration is also provided. Cloud technologies are used.
